CUAbroad

 

 

The first annual CUA Education Abroad Fair is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Pryzbyla Center Great Room. This event is organized and sponsored by CUAbroad - Center for Global Education.

The purpose of the fair is to showcase the overseas educational opportunities available to CUA students and to allow students to meet with program representatives. In addition to programs directly administered by CUA, the event will feature affiliated programs as well as other institutions and organizations offering study, internship and service learning programs now available on all continents.

The fair is open to students, parents, faculty and staff at CUA free of charge. Exhibitors may attend by invitation only. Educational institutions and program providers not affiliated with CUA, but wishing to exhibit at the fair are encouraged to submit an inquiry via email to Ella Sweigert, Director of Education Abroad at sweigert@cua.edu or by calling 202-319-6010.

 

The deadline to register for the fair is Friday, Aug. 14 (for outside program providers) and Friday, Aug. 21 for CUA academic and administrative units as well as student organizations.

Invitations and details about the fair will be sent out via email.

 

- Free for on-campus groups and organizations and all CUA affiliated programs

- $50 per organization for non-CUA affiliated programs. Fair setup includes a table with two chairs as well as parking for one car. The building has wireless access. If you need access to an outlet, you must contact Ella Sweigert via e-mail.

 

 

Come and see how many different types of opportunities overseas are available through a variety of CUA sponsors and organizations and institutions approved to attend by CUAbroad. A list of exhibitors will be available after Aug. 21, 2009.
