Fall Semester: 5 October - 20 December 2009
Introduction
The University of Essex is located in Colchester, North Essex, not far from enchanting "Constable Country," so named after the famous landscape artist John Constable. Constable painted Wivenhoe Park itself, the very setting of this university, about the size of CUA, with an ideal location of just 55 miles from London.
The University of Essex provides students with the opportunity to study in an ideal British university setting. About 40% of the University is from outside the UK therefore making it a very international campus. Students are fully integrated into the academic and social life of the university, as they are offered a wide array of course options, from those in the Social Sciences and the Humanities, as well as in Science and Engineering. Take a look at pre-arrival information for the University of Essex.
