Summer Short-Term Programs

CUAbroad offers education abroad programs during the summer break! Applications for programs vary (check particular program) but you are encouraged to apply as early as possible, since programs fill up quickly. Check the program website for the application procedures and deadlines. Stay tuned for additional information. The CUA Department of Modern Languages and Literature offers several study abroad travel grants of $800 each supported by the Alessandro S. Crisafulli Fund for students who are majoring in modern languages.

Summer CUA programs have the following payments:

Application Fee: $100, non-refundable, due at the time of application.
CUA Tuition: $2,445 for 3 credits or $4,890 for 6 credits (Summer 2010)
Program Fee: varies with specific program. All IES summer programs (except Beijing and Santiago): $2,500. IES Abroad Beijing & Santiago: $2,000.
Deposit: $500 . Due upon acceptance. Balance of the program fee is charged to the student's CUA student account.
